Joe ZiccardiJoe Ziccardi is currently the Chief Talent Officer and Director of HR Services for Alternative Recruiting, a consulting firm and service provider in talent acquisition solutions.  Services include, executive search-headhunting, employee referral technology, and assessment testing for pre-employment selection and performance optimization. With more than two decades of experience in providing talent and HR related services, Mr. Ziccardi brings extensive knowledge and insight to the talent issues that face small to mid-size enterprises. Alternative Recruiting has worked with companies in a variety of industries including industrial, distribution, manufacturing, financial services, construction, engineering, information technology, and business services. Joe has helped companies recruit and solve talent acquisition problems in many different job functions including sales, marketing, engineering, information technology, accounting, purchasing, warehouse management, customer service, office management, C-level executives, project/production management, and human resources.

Mr. Ziccardi brings to Alternative Recruiting more than 20 years of general management and leadership experience in the talent acquisition business where he is recognized as an innovative thinker and trusted advisor. Prior to founding Alternative Recruiting, Joe was the co-founder and CEO of Cromwell Partners, Inc., a top 30 ranked retained executive search firm, and President of CP Interactive, a firm specializing in recruiting senior level technology talent for direct hire and staff augmentation. As a senior operating executive of both small and mid-size companies, Joe has experienced, first-hand, the challenges of finding, attracting, and hiring excellent people. He has personally conducted hundreds of recruiting assignments and has placed people at all levels, and for many different types of organizations. His value to his clients is demonstrated in his unique combination of experiences. As a talent specialist with a technical and management background, he excels in communicating with, understanding, and engaging senior level management talent as well as mid-management specialists in technology, engineering, and technical sales.

Prior to his career in talent acquisition and development, Joe held positions in financial services, engineering, and technical sales. Joe is a graduate of Manhattan College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
